Las Grutas Tolantongo ~a pool of infinity dreams ~
@instascenex @travel.gramx ~
Tolantongo isn’t a town, but a box-canyon deep in the Valle de Mezquital. The name comes from the Nahuatl word Tonaltonko, meaning “Place where it flows warm”. The warm River Tolantongo comes from an underground source and is the reason for the name.
There are more than 30 warm mineral pools next to the hotels on the mountainside and two main caves. The chambers are heated and feel much like a steam bath.

Stop by Bejuco Hotel and grab a drink while you swing by this Tulum fire pit.
Can you spot me?
As soon as I started swimming and looked up, I understood why Mayans believe cenotes are a sacred place — I couldn’t believe my eyes. What a beautiful place with such a special energy!
Exploring the beautiful meandering jungle paths was one of my favorite parts of tulum.
Life is a little jungle-esque right now as we are one week away from Itália 🇮🇹 and tying the knot with @michaelcheckers!!
Tulum sunset beach vibes in this fun #missoni dress and matching headband that I found with a little help from @century21stores @shopsawgrass (📷 @michaelcheckers)
Best part of the pool is the shallow end. When I need a break from the beach, I head to the pool for some meditation time.
