Looking to see what the rest of Massachusetts has to offer?
Dive into architecture and local produce all in one shot. Browse the farmers market in Copley Square and soak in the beautiful architecture. Your surrounded by two beautiful churches, OId South Church and Trinity Church, the Hancock Tower, Copley Hotel and of course, the Boston Public Library. Trinity Church, designed by H. H. Richardson, is said to be one of the first examples of true, American architecture.
Boston has some amazing architectural gems worth exploring, and a few of them can be found in Copley Square, my favorite being the Boston Public Library. Get lost in the architectural details of the library’s grand stairwell, main reading room, enchanting courtyard and end at the beautiful indoor cafe.

Seasonal veggie quiche, hearty shitake mushroom soup and rotisserie chicken sandwich and salad and of course, coffee were how we started our day in Boston. Everything from this South End food gem is so fresh and delicious.
Whimsical, interactive art sculptures of fog on display in the Emereald Necklace, a Boston park system designed by the famous architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. “Fog x FLO,” “fog sculptures” series was created by Japanese artist, Fujiko Nakaya. Using a patented nozzle and sprinkler system, the artist times each sculpture to appear and interact with the surrounding environment in what she calls “a conversation with nature.”
If you find yourself in Boston over Fall, explore the pathways of Boston’s Emerald Necklace park and take in all the beautiful New England fall foliage.
