Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur travel inspiration from those who have wandered before you. Discover the top places to stay, best food to eat, and must do sights to see while traveling to Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Here are my top recommended stops for traveling to and exploring Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France 🇫🇷. Filled with art galleries, boutiques, and cute cafes, this charming fortified village overlooks the French Riviera and the mountains around ❤. As you can imagine, the breathtaking views and quaint stone walls do attract a lot of tourists. 300 people live in the village, but 2.5 million tourists visit annually! Have you heard of Saint-Paul-de-Vence? 🌿
ᴘʜᴏᴛᴏ ᴛɪᴘ ✷ Saint-Paul-de-Vence isn’t the easiest town to get to since it is not accessible by train. The best way to get there is by car 🚗. If you’re driving from Nice, take either the A8 highway or the coastal route du Bord du Mer. Then, turn inland at Cagnes-sur-Mer, and follow signs north to St-Paul-de-Vence. If you do not have a car, you can take the bus n° 400 “Nice Vence (par St Paul)” from Nice 🚃.
“Stroll around the town of Saint-Tropez, whose colors change when it’s raining, but whose charm remains intact. The weather hasn’t discouraged the pétanque players on the place des Lices. Behind the port, the Ponche beach is deserted..” Saint Tropez was our last stop on this incredible journey we took along the Riviera on the footsteps of Coco Chanel and we made the most of it – Link in bio to discover our travel diary “Paris – Riviera” in collaboration with Les Eaux de Chanel. ⠀

NEW BLOG POST 🍋 part 1 of our trip to the south of France is up on the blog! This guide covers the French Riviera: pastel towns along the coast, favorite meals and beaches. I also included a map you can add to your phone for on-the-go planning…how do you guys feel about this?
Head to the link in my profile for the full post!
Let me introduce to you one of my favorite cities along the Mediterranean: Marseille, France. 🇫🇷
There are a lot of wonderful things to do and places to see in this city, but my favorite is the Palais (Palace) Longchamp.
Swipe 👉 to see just how big it is!
This Baroque-inspired monument is made up of beautiful flowers, a huge central fountain, columns, and statues. But the beauty doesn’t stop there. Inside you can wander through the Natural History Museum and the Musée des Beaux-Arts!
Tip: To beat the crowds and skip the heat, be sure to go early in the morning! Find a nice spot in the shade and enjoy a coffee and baguette. ☕🥖
Have you ever been to the city of Marseille???
Only 4 days until we head to a European country we’ve never been to before…NORWAY! It’s going to be an adventurous one (you’ll see 😉).
Until then, working on getting the first part of my south of France guide up & an email newsletter out. Lots of exciting things in the works, you won’t want to miss this one! Linked in my profile now.

So much ♡ for the beautiful town of Cotignac, where we stayed close by the Gorges du Verdon. Here are some of my favorite 📷’s..
All have been edited with the India Collection of @finduslostpresets (more in IG stories!)
NEW BLOG POST 💦 couldn’t resist sharing more photos & tips from this incredible place! My guide to visiting the Gorges du Verdon in the south of France is up, and it has everything you need to add this beautiful spot to your bucket list. Linked in my profile, as always!
This beach might look friendly, but exhibit a) the kid on the bottom right hand corner walking like he’s just ran into a patch on bindis! 🌵 For those of you that don’t know what a bindi is, imagine walking on grass with invisible cactus shavings ready to spike you in the foot. Then you have to pick them out.
💦🌞 Don’t get me wrong, these grey stones which are actually called “galets” are unique as they contribute to making the sea the beautiful vibrant blue that it is! Just don’t be fooled by he rocks, my stubbed toe will never be the same! For now, let’s appreciate the photo 😊
Wandering the streets of old towns and stumbling on gems like this 𖢻 my favorite pastime!

Lourmarin WINS for my favorite town in Provence, France 🥂
Here’s a little snippet from our day wine tasting at @chateau.constantin, followed by our own continuation…posting up with local wine, cheese, and sweets at 6pm from our hotel @legalinier_lourmarin (found by my girl @laurendunec, and so reasonably priced for this region!)
No expectations for this South of France trip, and it’s completely blown me away. Travel guide coming soon!
My kinda summer 🙌🏼🥰🍇@finduslostpresets
Literally posting this as I buy my 16th block of cheese at the local fromagerie 🐑🧀 I lost count of how many French macarons I’ve consumed after I learned they’re gluten-free (most are dairy free too!). Ah, France 🇫🇷
P.S. This market in Apt is one of the largest in Provence, a must visit for any food lover!
Our South of France schedule: wake up around 11am, go for a swim, pack a picnic basket, drive around and stop for lavender fields or cute towns. So this sunflower field really threw off our strict schedule 😛🌻🙌🏼 Traveling with my BFF and I couldn’t be happier! We’ve been planning our trips around our friend’s travels lately and it’s been so much fun. @finduslostpresets
I’ve had this spot saved for years and it does not disappoint 💦💦☀️ the most perfect turquoise water, with Jacob (aka Riviera Jacques) as my handsome boat captain.
More of the beautiful Gorges du Verdon in my IG stories! I can’t wait to write a travel guide for the South of France.
Wish you could smell this 🙌🏼✨
Endless lavender en route to Sault (this field is 5 minutes south, just off the main road). @finduslostpresets
Bonjour from the south of France 👋🏼🌸 we’ve spent the last few days exploring the sweetest little towns along the coast and I can’t wait to share all our favorites!
This one is Villefranche-sur-Mer, the perfect little seaside town (and where we spent our first 3 nights) 🇫🇷 @finduslostpresets
What I hope we will be doing next week ❤️ Provence in my heart forever!

It’s easy to fall in love with the pastel harbor of Menton, France. Walk along the beach paths for stunning views of the city above.

Surprisingly the Mediterranean water here in the French Riviera is cool, but not as cold as I had thought. A swim at Plage Publique de Castel was necessary, the public beach at the most western end of Nice’s long, crescent beach that is right in front of the old town historic district. Super refreshing and […]

Lookout onto the Nice coastline from the Great Panorama Nice observation deck at Castle Hill (Colline du Château). This is a perfect activity to do around sunset, just as the park was closing. There were definitely still a bunch of tourists, but less of a fight to get a peak.

“On the other side of the clouds is a bright blue sky.” 💙
I came across this quote recently and just had to share! ✨ I hope to always be the kind of person who puts more emphasis on the blue skies than the clouds. Of course the clouds are inevitable and a big part of life, but I find hope by shifting my perspective to the blue skies to come rather than the current cloudy condition… *Challenge: When things aren’t going your way, instead of dwelling so much on the negative— how you’re feeling and how life isn’t fair— why not shift your thoughts/emotions on the good that you’ve already experienced + the good that’s to come?! Positive AND negative vibes are contagious, so share them wisely!! Xx
